Dr Luciana Dadico

Luciana Dadico is full professor at the Department of Psychology of the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso, Brazil. She teaches also at the Research Program in Cultural Studies of the Universidade de São Paulo and at the Research Program in Studies of Contemporary Culture of the Universidade Federal de Mato Grosso. 

Professor Dadico received her PhD in Psychology at the Institute of Psychology, University of São Paulo, after a period as Visiting Scholar at the Scuola Normale Superiore of Pisa, Italy, guided by the Professor Carlo Ginzburg. She developed postdoctoral studies at the Program in Critical Theory – University of California, Berkeley, under the guidance of the Emeritus Professor Martin E. Jay, and at the Universidade de São Paulo (at the Institute of Psychology, guided by Professor Iray Carone, and at the School of Arts, Sciences and Humanities, guided by the Titular Professor Rogério Monteiro de Siqueira). She is bachelor both in Psychology and Philosophy. Throughout her career, she was awarded research grants from Italian and Brazilian agencies. Currently, she leads the Group of Research on Intersectionality in Social Relations and Cultural Studies (GPIR).

Her publications include themes such as Critical Theory of Society, Social and Educational Psychology, Gender Studies, Cultural History, History of Psychology, Literature, Reading and Digital Humanities.
