Dr Marilene Proença Rebello de Souza

Professor Marilene Proença Rebello de Souza is psychologist, Full Professor at the University of São Paulo (USP). She has been conducting research at the Masters and Doctorate levels in the Graduate Program in School Psychology and Human Development at the Institute of Psychology at the University of São Paulo, and since 2010 is advisor in the Inter-Unit Graduate Program in USP Latin America Integration - PROLAM-USP.
She coordinates the Interinstitutional Laboratory for Studies and Research in School Psychology - LIEPPE and is the leader of the Research Group Psychology and Schooling: public policies and professional activity in the historical-critical perspective in the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq). Brazil.
She is researcher and lecturer in the area of School and Educational Psychology, researching, mainly, the following topics: public policies in education, training and performance of psychologists, teacher training, schooling, medicalization of education and society, human rights of children and adolescents; psychology, society and education in Latin America.
